Corporate English Learning Center was founded in 1987 by its directors, Mr.Joseph Arthurs and Mr.Warawut Wongpraparat. Today, the company has established an international reputation for its expertise in preparing professionals for challenging assignments in foreign languages.
VISION
The Bas-BASIC method of teaching languages has been developed as a result of practical experience in language teaching. We know the method works, and we have confidence in our method based on years of successful experience. Important is the fact that the Bas-BASIC organization produces its own learn ware which is specially designed to complement the Bas-BASIC method. It is this combination of special Bas-BASIC books and special teaching techniques which entitles us to speak of "The Bas-BASIC method" as an effective way to learn to speak languages. The primary aim of the Bas-BASIC method is to help the learner communicate as effectively as possible in the foreign language. By "communicate" we mean the ability to speak and understand the target language. The Bas-BASIC method also aims at enabling the learner to read and write, but that is a secondary aim. The main emphasis in teaching is on the spoken word. It is only by speaking the language that the learner will acquire oral competence.
